What does the role of Shift Leader Front Office entail?
As someone working in Front Office, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety work, and sales tasks. Working in Front Office involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and safety.
In the role of Shift Leader, you not only participate in operations but also have an overall overview of guest flow, working with the team to prioritize tasks so that operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Front Office Manager of certain administrative tasks.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Your Competence
For this role, you need both the ability and the desire to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership, possessing both integrity and a sales drive. To fit into the role, we also believe that you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests. You are a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with computers as a tool.
Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
Information about the position:
The position is a full-time temporary employment. Start date in February.
